The Problem We Saw Every Day
It started the way most real things do — not with a grand plan, but with frustration.
We were browsing through marketplaces, local toy shops, and retail chains looking for toys for kids in our own family. The shelves were full — colourful packaging, exciting designs, attractive prices. But the moment you flipped the box over, the red flags were everywhere.
No safety certification. No age labelling. Paint that smelled chemical. Plastic that felt brittle.
That was the moment Rynoka was born — not in a boardroom, but in a toy shop aisle in Gujarat.
Why Surat?
Most people don't know this, but Surat is one of India's fastest-growing retail and commerce hubs, with a strong manufacturing tradition behind it. Skilled craftspeople, family-run workshops, quality materials — the expertise has always been here.
The problem was never the makers. It was the broken supply chain and the lack of a trustworthy storefront that brought good toys directly to Indian parents.
We spent weeks sourcing, testing, and reviewing products — as parents and as customers. We had one non-negotiable rule from day one: every toy on Rynoka must be safe for children. No exceptions.

Building the Store — The Honest Part
We will be honest with you — building Rynoka was not glamorous.
There were late nights comparing courier rates. Weekends spent photographing products. Dozens of theme tweaks. Debates over which age group a toy belongs in. Rewriting product descriptions three times to make sure they were accurate and not just marketing fluff.
We built every page of this store thinking about one person — an Indian parent, sitting at home at 11pm, scrolling on their phone, trying to find the right birthday gift for their 4-year-old. Someone who doesn't have time to research safety certifications, who just wants to trust the store they are buying from.
That parent is who we built Rynoka for.
Where We Are Headed
Rynoka is just getting started.
We are working on faster delivery across Gujarat and pan-India. We are adding more curated products for every age group. We are building a blog and resource section to help parents make better toy choices for their child's age and development stage.
