Kali Hand Embroidered Kamarbandh Waist Panel for Chaniya Choli | Mor Kali

It is worn over a chaniya choli or lehenga, centred at the front of the skirt. The fabric ties at the top pass around the waist and knot at the back, so the embroidered panel hangs flat down the front. Nothing is stitched or pinned to your outfit.

Mor Kali carries a peacock motif, Hathi Kali and Hathi Goti Kali both feature an elephant (Goti adds a mirrored goti medallion at the hem), and Rosette Kali is worked in floral rosettes with bead detailing. All use the same Kutch–Saurashtra mirror-work technique and tie the same way — pick whichever motif suits your outfit.

Yes, it is one size. The waist ties are long enough to adjust across a wide range of sizes, and because the panel simply hangs at the front it works over most chaniya cholis and lehengas regardless of the skirt's flare or length.

Mor Kali, Hathi Kali and Hathi Goti Kali each come in White, Black, Rani Pink and Blue. Rosette Kali comes in White, Black and Blue only. The embroidery is multicoloured on every option, so each one pairs with a wide range of chaniya choli colours rather than needing an exact match.

Dry clean only. Do not machine wash, soak or wring it. Iron on the reverse at low heat and keep the iron away from the mirrors and beads. Store it flat or loosely rolled with tissue between the embroidered layers so the mirrors do not scratch each other.

Very close, but not identical. Every panel is embroidered by hand, so stitch density, mirror placement and thread shade vary slightly from piece to piece. These small differences are a mark of genuine handwork rather than a defect.
