Product Details

This Hathi Goti Kali waist panel is hand-embroidered with floral rosettes, an elephant motif and a radiating mirrored goti medallion at the hem — a Gujarati craft piece that ties over a chaniya choli to complete a Navratri or Garba look. Being a separate piece, it moves between outfits season after season.

  • Craft: Hand embroidery with mirror (abhla) work in the Kutch–Saurashtra tradition
  • Motifs: Elephant, floral rosettes and a radiating goti medallion with mirror inlay
  • Finish: Contrast piping, mirror-bead chain border and mirror-and-shell teardrop fringe
  • Fit / Use: One size — ties at the waist and drapes over any chaniya choli in seconds, no stitching required
  • Colours: Black, White, Rani Pink, Blue
  • Occasion: Navratri, Garba, weddings and festive functions

Handmade by artisans — small variations in stitch and mirror placement are part of the craft. Quality checked before dispatch. Free pan-India delivery.

Product FAQs

Have questions? Check out our FAQs or contact support for assistance.

How is the Hathi Goti Kali waist panel worn?

It is worn over a chaniya choli or lehenga, centred at the front of the skirt. The fabric ties at the top pass around the waist and knot at the back, so the embroidered panel hangs flat down the front. Nothing is stitched or pinned to your outfit.

Is it one size, or what are the dimensions?

This panel is one size with adjustable waist ties, so it fits most adult waist sizes comfortably. Exact panel dimensions are being confirmed and will be added to the listing shortly.

What colours are available?

The Hathi Goti Kali comes in four colours: Black, White, Rani Pink and Blue. Each is hand-embroidered on its own base fabric, so shade may vary slightly piece to piece.

How do I care for the mirror work and embroidery?

Dry clean only — avoid machine washing, soaking or wringing. Iron on the reverse at low heat, keeping the iron away from mirrors and beadwork. Store flat or loosely rolled with tissue between embroidered layers so the mirrors do not scratch, and keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight to protect the thread colours.

Will my piece look exactly like the photo?

Very close, but not pixel-for-pixel. Every panel is hand-embroidered by artisans, so small variations in stitch tension and mirror placement are part of the craft rather than a defect — each piece is quality checked before it ships.
